FAQs — TorqueX German Car Parts

Question 1

Which vehicle brands can I enquire about?

Accepted Answer

TorqueX can source parts for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche. If your brand or model isn't listed, send an enquiry and we'll check what's available.

Question 2

What if my part or model isn't listed?

Accepted Answer

The online catalogue is only part of the sourcing service. Use the Request a Part form to send your vehicle details and a description of the part you need. TorqueX will check sourcing options and get back to you with availability, fitment information, and a quote.

Question 3

Can I request a body panel in a particular colour?

Accepted Answer

Yes. TorqueX accepts requests for body panels in any colour. We check sourcing options for your vehicle and paint code and confirm availability, condition, and finish before you order. Paint shade and finish can vary, and paintwork or blending by a qualified repairer may be needed for a seamless result.

Question 4

How do I check whether a part fits my vehicle?

Accepted Answer

When you submit a parts enquiry, include your vehicle make, model, year, generation or chassis code, engine code, and variant. TorqueX will check fitment for your specific vehicle before confirming the order. If you're unsure, you can also provide your VIN or a photo of the existing part.

Question 5

Do you need my VIN or part number?

Accepted Answer

A VIN or OEM part number is helpful but not required to start an enquiry. If you have them, include them in the Request a Part form. If you don't know your VIN, it's usually found on the driver's door jamb, dashboard (visible through the windscreen), or your registration papers.

Question 6

What are the delivery estimates?

Accepted Answer

Small parts typically take approximately 7–10 days. Larger parts and body panels typically take approximately 25–30 days. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates. Exact timing is confirmed for your specific order before payment is taken.

Question 7

How much does freight cost?

Accepted Answer

Freight cost depends on the size, weight, and delivery postcode. For bulky items, the freight charge is confirmed before payment. TorqueX will include freight in your quote so you know the total cost before committing.

Question 8

Are items genuine, OEM-supplier, aftermarket, new, or used?

Accepted Answer

Part type and condition are confirmed with each quote. TorqueX will clearly state whether a part is new, used, refurbished, genuine manufacturer, OEM-supplier, or aftermarket. An OEM reference number alone does not mean a part is genuine. If you have a preference, include it in your enquiry.

Question 9

Do electronic parts require programming?

Accepted Answer

Some electronic modules, ECUs, and control units require coding or programming after installation. TorqueX will advise on known programming requirements when confirming a quote for electronic parts. If you're unsure, ask when you submit your enquiry.

Question 10

How do I contact TorqueX about an order or return?

Accepted Answer

Contact TorqueX by phone on 0410 708 801 or by email at contact@torquex.com.au. TorqueX is your point of contact throughout — from enquiry to delivery and any after-sale questions.
